In a powerful show of support for Palestinians, Iran has introduced its largest drone yet, named ‘Gaza,’ as a tribute to the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip.

According to a report from Mehr News, the unveiling of this drone is Iran’s way of honoring the intense battle that has been raging for 15 months.

Major General Hossein Salami, the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, confirmed that the new drone is capable of carrying 12 bombs at once.

He also mentioned that this drone would primarily be used for border security operations.

The war between Israel and Hamas, which started in Gaza on October 7, 2023, has seen a temporary ceasefire this month.

However, the death toll continues to rise.

More than 47,300 people have lost their lives in the devastating conflict, and over 100,000 have been injured.

As rescue teams work tirelessly to pull bodies from the wreckage, the human cost of the war continues to grow.
